Mylon, this is so awesome! I will def save this for one of my games that I DM. Love it! And yes, sometimes people look at us really weird when we try to explain an idea that we had about an RPG game. 😊

This is such a great approach for monster hunting/harvesting. I loved Delicious in Dungeon when I stumbled across it on the Netflix, and have been wanting to find a way to add it into my solo games, so thank you!
Your odd research moment with your spouse made me both laugh out loud, and made me think fondly of an encounter I had today while at an after school meeting.
I happened to be sitting next to a former ER surgeon whose son was in my class a couple years ago.
After exchanging the typical pleasantries, I said to him, “So, you were a doctor. You know things. I have a D&D related question: Is there a way that a body can be paralyzed by a poison or toxin so that it can still have extreme nausea, but not be able to vomit?”
Without missing a beat, he went into an in-depth explanation of how induced paralysis functions and the ways it affects the various systems of the body. Long story short, the answer was yes, you can feel the urgent need to puke, but not be able to puke.
We get the information we need when the opportunity presents itself.
